Liverpool 3-0 Manchester United: Perfect tour ends in style
Arne Slot's men made it three wins out of three from their stay in the United States by beating their bitter rivals.
Liverpool wrapped up their pre-season tour of the United States by thrashing rivals Manchester United 3-0 in South Carolina.
The Reds kicked off the scoring when Fabio Carvalho worked space in the box before firing a low left-footed effort home early doors.
And they were 2-0 to the good before the break as Curtis Jones poked home a Mohamed Salah ball across the box.
A dominant performance was then wrapped up in the second period, Kostas Tsimikas poking home from close range after a Diogo Jota shot had been saved.
Who played?
Liverpool: Kelleher (Jaros, 46); Bradley (Stephenson, 65), Quansah (Phillips, 65), Konate (Van den Berg, 46), Tsimikas (Chambers, 65); Elliott (Endo, 65), Jones (Nyoni, 60), Gravenberch (Bajcetic, 65); Salah (Morton, 65), Jota (Blair, 65), Carvalho (Doak, 65).

Perfect pre-season tour ends
With a new man at the helm this summer, it would have been difficult for Liverpool fans to write off any poor results and performances during this trip as meaningless quirks of pre-season.
The fact is, when you are heading into a new era, both players and supporters need early proof that their buy-in is set to offer some long-term value.
And they certainly got that across this tour, with three wins, six goals scored, just one conceded, and two of those victories having come against top-end Premier League sides.
Beyond the scorelines, there was also clear evidence of an exciting, expansive style of play developing, while the aggressive pressing and slick counters that were so loved under Jurgen Klopp also remain.
Of course, these games are sure to be quickly forgotten should the Reds struggle when the real stuff begins later this month.
But they could not have made a more encouraging start under Arne Slot, and the most exciting part is that the last of the remaining internationals will return to training on Tuesday.
